Job Overview:

We are looking for a creative and strategic Social Media Manager to join our team. The Social Media Manager will be responsible for developing and implementing our social media strategy to increase our online presence and improve our marketing and sales efforts. The ideal candidate will have a passion for social media, excellent communication skills, and the ability to engage and grow our audience. Key Responsibilities:

1. Strategy Development: Create, implement, and manage Shapperly’s social media strategy to align with business goals.
2. Content Creation: Generate, edit, publish, and share engaging content daily (e.g., original text, photos, videos, and news across social platforms)
3. Social Media Video Production: Comfortable recording, editing and posting videos using mobile phones for social media platforms such as TikTok, Instagram Reels, and other video creation and editing tools.
4. Audience Engagement: Respond to comments, messages, and customer queries in a timely manner, fostering positive interactions.
5. Analytics and Reporting: Analyze social media metrics, provide regular reports, and optimize strategies based on insights.
6. Campaign Management: Plan and execute social media campaigns, including paid advertising.
7. Collaboration: Collaborate with marketing, sales, and customer service teams to align social media efforts with overall business objectives.

Requirements:

• One year of work experience in social media management, personally or within an organisation.
• Proven experience in managing social media platforms and content creation for either personal or professional use.
• Strong understanding of video production using TikTok, Instagram Reels, and other video creation and editing platforms.
• Creative mindset with strong visual and design sensibilities.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Knowledge of home maintenance products and industry trends is an advantage.
